The diocese extends it’s service of charity to the
needy and the poor, and the abandoned through
hostels and Boardings, special schools for the
handicapped, and orphanages for the abandoned
children, and old age homes for the needy old
people. In the diocese there are at present 8 Homes
for the economically backward girls and 5 for boys.
Besides, there are two homes which accommodate both
boys and girls.
